Reddit Skydiving Community

I have read reddit’s skydiving community posts for about 2 months now.

Here are the most common questions

  1. AFF
  2. Medical condition
  3. Dropzone recommendation
  4. Equipment
  5. Retirement
  6. Women

It seems that majority of questions don’t have much “substance”.

Here is why Reddit is bad

  1. The karma system has no accountability. Anyone can downvote without providing reason. It’s brainless action without offering any value. It is a toxic environment.
  2. Reddit can’t merge posts, same questions and answers without adding value.
  3. It is hard to form connections when most are burner accounts.

I have high hopes that ExtrmSport community can do better.
